PRODUCT INFORMATION

At Trend and Bend, we aim to represent the colors of our products as accurately as possible. However, the actual colors you see may vary depending on your monitor settings. Thus, we can’t guarantee that the colors will appear exactly as displayed once your order arrives.

As our items are handmade, please expect some slight variations from the images shown. Trend and Bend reserves the right to make changes to individual components.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, but we do our utmost to ensure they are as accurate as possible.

We take care to provide correct details, descriptions, and pricing for our products when you visit our website. However, we reserve the right to refuse orders where product information is misrepresented, including prices and promotions.

Please note that prices are subject to change without notice. All prices include applicable UK or Republic of Ireland VAT. Goods are subject to availability. There may be a delay between placing your order and its acceptance, which could impact stock levels. If an item you ordered is out of stock before we confirm your order, we will notify you promptly, and you will not incur any charges for that item.

We regularly refresh our online store to enhance your shopping experience. Occasionally, our physical retail locations may have exclusive promotions not found online, or we may offer online-exclusive discounts not available in stores. Some website promotions may also be inaccessible to customers in select regions.

PAYMENT OPTIONS AND PRICING

We gladly accept online payments through Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards in British Pounds (GBP) and United States Dollars (USD).

All prices include applicable UK or Irish VAT, updated at the current rates, and are accurate as of the time they are entered into our system. The total order cost comprises the product prices plus any delivery charges.

For your security, please ensure that the billing name and address matches those associated with the credit/debit card used for payment. Trend and Bend reserves the right to cancel any order that does not comply with these requirements.

Cancellation Policy

At Trend and Bend, you have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receiving your items for most products. Please note that this policy does not cover certain items, such as personalized products, perishable goods, and opened audio/video recordings or computer software. If you decide to cancel, you’ll need to inform us in writing within 7 working days, starting the day after you receive your goods.

Please keep in mind that we do not offer a free returns service.

It’s important to take reasonable care of the items you receive and return them to us promptly. We will not consider that you’ve taken reasonable care if the items have been used in a way that goes beyond what you would do to inspect them in a store.

For custom-made or specially commissioned garments, cancellations are only accepted within five days of placing your order due to the nature of the work involved. Unfortunately, we cannot process refunds or cancellations after this period. Your statutory rights are still protected.

We maintain legal ownership of the goods until full payment has been made and received by us. If we issue a refund for any payment, legal ownership will revert back to us.

Accuracy

We work hard to ensure accurate color reproduction, but colors may vary based on your monitor or printer settings. The information you see on our website shouldn’t be viewed as factual statements. All images, illustrations, and descriptions are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the content or services provided on our site. Though we strive to keep our website dependable and accessible, please recognize that the internet can sometimes be unpredictable, which may result in errors, omissions, or service interruptions. We do our best to maintain the accuracy and currency of our online material, but we cannot make guarantees.

Fabrics & Embroidery

Many of our products feature delicate hand embroidery. It’s normal for beads to shift occasionally, and this is not considered a defect. Our items are tailored for special occasions and should be handled with care.

Most of our fabrics are composed of 100% polyester.

You might notice variations in patterns due to different dyeing techniques.

For laundering, we recommend ‘Dry Clean’ only for the first wash. Heavily embroidered items must be dry cleaned, while more casual pieces should be washed separately in cold water and rinsed thoroughly. Due to the nature of hand dyeing, color consistency cannot be guaranteed, and we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs from not adhering to the washing instructions.

Clothing with embossed or rubber prints should be ironed inside out.

Any changes in sequins, beads, or embroidery are a natural outcome of the craftsmanship and are not defects. Unfortunately, we cannot accept claims for postage on exchanges or refunds in these cases.

We may not be able to provide exhaustive instructions for every item, but the information above serves as a washing guideline. If you’re ever uncertain, it’s best to opt for dry cleaning.

Shoes that feature sequins, diamante, or embroidery are best reserved for special occasions. Additionally, styles like kusa are not suitable for rainy weather.

If you notice a paraffin smell on some outfits, this is a result of the dry cleaning process used after embroidery. Rest assured, the odor will dissipate once the garment is removed from its packaging.

If your package arrives damaged or opened, please refuse the delivery and return it to the courier. If you do open the package, be sure to check the items in front of the courier and report any damages or missing items immediately. Should you discover any damage, reach out to Customer Service at 01582 611668. Please have all relevant receipts or documents handy, as well as the original packaging if you’re making a damage claim. We’ll repair or replace any items damaged or lost during delivery at no cost, as long as you notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery or the expected delivery date provided with your order.

Please note that refunds will not be issued for products damaged due to customer misuse or neglect.

GENERAL

You and Trend and Bend are not bound by any order until it’s officially accepted by us. You will take ownership of the items once they are handed over to the postal service or our carriers, or when you pay the full price and delivery charge—whichever comes later. Any changes to these terms must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

POSTAGE CHARGES

A delivery fee of £7.99 applies to all orders shipped to England, Wales, and parts of Scotland.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

Occasionally, an item may be out of stock. To avoid delaying your order, we may take the following steps:

1. We will attempt to contact you. If we can’t reach you, we may refund the item and proceed to ship the rest of your order.
2. If you’ve provided incorrect phone numbers or address details, and we cannot verify them, your order may be put on hold until we can get in touch with you.
3. While we make every effort to send all orders, we cannot be held responsible if you’re not home or if the package is delivered to the wrong address.
4. Make sure your card details match the delivery address. If there’s a mismatch, we’ll need to confirm that everything lines up before sending your package.
5. Please understand that we cannot guarantee delivery, as it can depend on several individual circumstances.

SALES POLICY

At Trend and Bend, we understand that sometimes a product may not fit quite right. Therefore, we only allow exchanges for sale items due to the significant discounts on our clearance stock. If you’d like to exchange an item, feel free to return it and select a different size, color, or design. Please note that an additional delivery fee of £4.95 will apply. Your legal rights remain intact, regardless.

MEASUREMENTS

The measurements we provide are approximate, as all our garments are handmade and sizes may differ slightly. Variations can also occur based on the style and shape of the garments, as well as the different fabrics utilized.

NON-TRANSFERABLE

The right to use our services is non-transferable and is subject to any limits established by Trend and Bend or your credit card provider.

RESALE

Our pricing reflects a direct wholesale structure for our customers, meaning our items cannot be resold or purchased wholesale. We do not allow the resale of our products in the UK or abroad.

RIGHT TO REFUSE

Trend and Bend reserves the right to refuse service at any time at its discretion. Availability affects the sale of any goods or services we offer.

RISK

Once your goods are delivered, the risk is transferred to you. Trend and Bend is not responsible for any delays in delivery caused by third parties. After delivery, all risk associated with the goods falls to you.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Please note that our policies regarding returns and exchanges do not impact your legal rights if the items do not meet the required standards.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You may not use, reproduce, duplicate, modify, or sell any part of the Trend and Bend Website, including its Content and trademarks, without our prior written consent.

All content on our Website—including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, data compilations, and software—falls under the copyright of Trend and Bend and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. Our trademarks displayed on the site, whether registered or unregistered, are owned by Trend and Bend and are protected by trademark laws. Any other trademarks not owned by us or our partners belong to their respective owners and may not be affiliated with us.

INDEMNITY

By using our Website, you agree to fully protect and defend Trend and Bend, along with our officers, directors, employees, agents, and suppliers, from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that may arise from your violation of these terms or from anyone else using your shopping account.

Promotional Offers

All promotional offers need to be returned in full. Keep in mind that promotional codes can’t be used in combination with sale items.

The services and products provided through this platform are offered “as-is” and “as available.” We do not offer any warranties, whether expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The total liability of the company, along with any affiliates, dealers, or suppliers, is limited solely to the amount you have paid for the items purchased. You also agree to protect us from any losses, damages, or costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from third-party claims linked to your use of the website. We will not be responsible for any losses that were not reasonably foreseeable by both Parties at the time the Contract was made, related to the supply of Goods and services, or their use by you, unless those losses are a direct result of our breach. This includes any business or trade losses. Our total liability under the Contract is capped at the purchase price of the Goods. Our obligations remain unchanged when it comes to liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our employees, agents, or subcontractors. Additionally, we will not be liable if we cannot meet our obligations to you due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, government actions, third-party actions, supplier failures, or if you fail to provide a correct delivery address or notify us of any changes.
