How To Care
Light-colored cotton requires a little extra love to stay looking new:
- Separate Wash: Always wash this lungi separately or with other whites to avoid color transfer from darker garments.
- Cold Water Only: Use cold water to prevent shrinkage and maintain the crispness of the mustard and blue stripes.
- Detergent: Use a gentle, liquid detergent. Avoid "optical brighteners" or bleach which can damage the natural cotton fibers.
- Drying: Line dry in a breezy, shaded spot. Hanging white cotton in extremely harsh sunlight for too long can sometimes lead to slight yellowing over time.
- Ironing: Best ironed while the fabric is about 10% damp to easily remove fold lines and restore the smooth texture.
