How To Care
Light-colored cotton requires specific care to keep it looking crisp and bright:
- Separate Washing: Always wash this Lungi separately or with other white/light garments to avoid color transfer from darker clothes.
- Water Temperature: Use cold or lukewarm water. Avoid hot water, which can yellow the natural cotton fibers over time.
- Drying: Unlike darker lungis, this white variant can benefit from 30 minutes of direct morning sunlight to maintain its brightness, but avoid over-exposure to prevent the olive stripes from fading.
- Stain Pre-treatment: If stained, treat immediately with a gentle stain remover before washing.
- Ironing: Use a high steam setting. A light spray of starch during ironing can give it that "premium boutique" crispness.
