How To Care
To ensure the deep indigo and bronze tones remain rich and the cotton stays soft, follow these care instructions:
- Wash Separately: For the first 2-3 washes, wash separately in cold water as deep dyes may slightly bleed, which is a hallmark of authentic, rich-toned cotton.
- Salt Soak: A quick 15-minute soak in salt-water before the first wash will help "lock" the lavender and indigo pigments.
- Detergent: Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid any "Bleach-based" products to protect the dark fibers.
- Drying: Always dry in the shade. Direct sunlight is the enemy of dark-colored cotton; keep it in a breezy, shaded area to maintain the "Midnight" look.
- Ironing: Iron on the reverse side (inside out) on a cotton setting to avoid creating "shiny" patches on the dark indigo surface.
