How To Care
To protect the contrasting light and dark tones of this grid design, follow these professional care steps:
- Cold Wash: Use cold water to prevent the midnight navy dyes from migrating into the khaki-beige sections.
- Inside-Out: Always turn the lungi inside out before washing to protect the delicate surface fibers of the handloom weave.
- Mild Detergent: Use a pH-neutral liquid detergent. Avoid harsh powders that can cause the darker colors to look "chalky" over time.
- Drying: Hang to dry in a shaded, breezy area. Avoid the dryer to prevent shrinkage of the natural cotton.
- Ironing: Use a medium-hot iron with a light steam burst to eliminate creases and sharpen the grid lines.
